According to Berlin’s internal affairs, Erhard Curting, barriers and police vehicles, leading to the street building, 60 policemen are carried by external security. Such measures, according to the Der Spiegel weekly, were taken in connection with the information received about the “possible terrorist attack on the Reichstag with the capture of hostages” - by analogy with the one that was undertaken in the Indian city of Mumbai in 2008.

Now the authorities are looking for two bombers, viewing data on visas issued to foreign citizens, and about persons who arrived in Germany from the countries of the Middle East and Southeast Asia, Fox News reports citing a source close to the investigation.

Special services believe that these self-killers arrived in Berlin about a month and a half ago from the Pakistani region of Vaziristan. They try not to stand out from the environment of the indigenous population - they wear western clothing, avoid mosques. They regularly change conspiratorial apartments. According to the authorities, terrorists are waiting for detonators who will be delivered to them to Berlin from Turkey through relatives or friends. The latter will become couriers involuntarily - they are used in a dark, secretly placing detonators in baggage.

At the same time, another group of terrorists is going to go to Germany over the next weeks to organize an attack using small arms for one or more megacities. The action itself can take place within three months.

These threats bother many Germans, although the authorities at first did not take the degree of danger seriously , which colleagues from the United States warned them in recent months. But last Wednesday, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Germany admitted that terrorists intend to strike at one or several large crowds of people in large cities of Germany until the end of the month.

These fears can reduce the traditional pre -holiday activity of the Germans - Christmas fairs have already begun to open in Germany, but many citizens are afraid that these crowded events will become a goal of terrorists.
