Despite the efforts of the authorities and employees of international humanitarian organizations, Cholera also spreads in the capital of Port-O-Prens, where more than 1.3 million people live in tent towns in unsanitary conditions.

According to the latest data, 64 people became victims of the disease in the largest city in Haiti, about 1.5 thousand are infected, ITAR-TASS reports.

Last week, the situation in Haiti was even more complicated by mass protests that flashed in the second largest city in the country of Kap-Avyatien.

Hundreds of people arranged riots on the streets, demanding the withdrawal of the UN mission and its non -Pali battalion, whose representatives local residents accuse the appearance of cholera in the country.

In the clashes, at least two people were killed, several dozen were injured of varying severity. To date, the situation in the cap-autien has stabilized.

The extremely difficult situation in the country, nevertheless, did not force the power of Haiti to transfer the presidential and parliamentary elections scheduled for November 28.
