All Chinese miners, stuck in an emergency mine near the city of Nayzzyan in the Central District of the country, were raised to the surface on Monday afternoon. According to the Central Television of China, rescuers finished work at 13:18 local time (8:18 in Moscow) on Monday. All miners are alive.

The accident occurred on Sunday in the morning at one of the coal mines in Vayuan County. Earlier, the Chinese agency Xinhua reported that at the time of flooding in the face there was 41 Shakhtar, 13 of them managed to get to the surface on his own. Later it became known that 29 miners were trapped and they were all alive.

Rescuers pumped water out of the face to get to the miners, ITAR-TASS reports.

As Reuters notes, this good news is a rarity for a country that holds sad leadership in the number of incidents in mines. More than 2600 people died as a result of accidents in the country's coal mines only in 2009.

The mining industry in China is considered the most dangerous in the world. Every year, as a result of emergency situations in production, thousands of miners die.
