The criminal case against Euroset employees was instituted in September 2008. Levin and his subordinates again caught Vlaskin, placed him, according to investigators, in a rented apartment and forced him to recognize the theft of 900 thousand rubles, as well as pay $ 409 thousand and 570 thousand rubles with money and property, after which they released. Five years later, Vlaskin testified against former colleagues. On December 22, 2008, Yevgeny Chichvarkin, who had already sold the Euroset by that time (“three kopecks”, as he says), in connection with the “exacerbation of the situation around the criminal prosecution of former business associates,” flew to London, on January 15, 2009 a resolution was issued to prosecute him, on March 11, a St. sent a request for extradition to the British court (consideration of this case is scheduled for March 2011). Initially, the organization of the crime was charged with Chichvarkin, then the prosecution was re -qualified as aiding, and then allocated to separate proceedings.
