Hillary Clinton will leave the civil service after work in the Obama administration

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, after the end of its authority as the head of the United States Foreign Policy Department, intends to leave the public service, abandoning the ambitions of the US president, the British newspaper Daily Telegraph reports on Saturday.

“I think the post of US Secretary of State will become my last public position, after that I will probably return to the lawyer work regarding, in particular, (protection) of women and children,” she said at a meeting with students in Bahrain.

Lawyer by education, Hillary Clinton noted that her state career has been going on for eight years - four years as the "first lady" of the USA and the Senator from the state of New York.

She said that she liked her previous work as a lawyer protecting the rights of offended and abandoned children, as well as the struggle for women's rights.
