The explosions that occurred yesterday in the afternoon in Stockholm are classified as a “suspicion of a terrorist crime,” representatives of the metropolitan police and the security police called the SEPO Sunday-conference in Stockholm.

"At 9:00 a.m. (11:00 Moscow time), the responsibility for conducting a preliminary investigation on suspicion of a terrorist crime is entrusted to SEPO," said SEPO representative Anders Thornberg at a press conference in Stockholm.

According to the Swedish media yesterday, on Saturday in the afternoon, in the center of Stockholm on the street of the street, one car exploded, in which gas tanks were subsequently discovered. A few minutes or three hundred meters from this car, a dead man was discovered.

The alarm, the Swedish television SVT reports, entered the police 16:52 local time (18:52 Moscow time). The Swedish media reports that due to explosion of the car, two people who were taken to the hospital received light injuries.

One of the witnesses of what happened, introduced by Pascal and a medical worker, said in an interview with the Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyuhter that he was one of the first at the scene of the unknown.

"I saw a man lying on his back 25-26, seriously wounded," he said. According to Pascal, it was clear that the victim’s chest was still moving, however, there was no pulse.

"Everything looked as if something exploded right near his abdomen, there were no wounds on either his face or other parts of the body, the shops were not injured around, the windows were intact," the eyewitness said.

According to Swedish television SVT near the deceased, a complete bag was discovered. However, these data in the police have not yet been confirmed.
