The moral and political disaster

The "direct lines" of Vladimir Putin, as a rule, are remembered by one or two episodes, which are then retold by journalists and random spectators. Here was the famous "Direct Line", after which two New Year trees - "Presidential" and "Governor" at once on the central square of Birobidzhan. The schoolgirl complained to the head of the state that the governor puts an artificial Christmas tree on the square, and the president - strict, but fair - immediately ordered to deliver the real one from the taiga. And then it turned out that the first Christmas tree was the real, only the team - but they did not dare to disobey the presidential instructions.

But these are all jokes. But the 2010 line will be remembered by a real ideological coup. And of course, this revolution is not connected with Putin about Khodorkovsky - we know well how the former president refers to the former oligarch, and no quote from Zhelov here looks like a revelation from Vladimir. And the fact that the court can take into account this revelation is also not news, we know a lot about Russian justice.

But the remark that Russia itself, without any Ukrainian, would have won the Second World War is the great news. We are already accustomed to the myth that this victory would take place without the help of allies in the anti -Hitler coalition - Soviet people accustomed to this thought for so long, so persistently introduced it into the consciousness that they could not believe even the most accurate numbers and documents. But there was another myth - the Soviet people defeated the war in the war. The man who asked the question to Vladimir Putin spoke in the framework of this myth: he lamented about lost unity, claiming - after thousands of propagandists of the last decades - that it helped to win the most terrible war of the last century.

And what did Vladimir Putin answer? That Russia would have overcome the enemy and herself, that it was she who the winning country. That all the efforts, human sacrifices, blood and sweat of the “strangers” were not particularly needed - even if they are not offended by him.

But it is impossible not to be offended by this - no matter what political views the "alien" listeners of Vladimir Putin adhere to. Because it does not fit in your head, no matter how much you try to lay it down.

Does not fit in a moral plane. My hometown was bombed in the first hours of the war, the Battle of the Nazis stopped for it for it - if it weren’t for this battle and other battles in Ukraine and Belarus, the aggressor would have approached the capital of Russia not in winter, and in the summer, the authorities of the victorious country would be forced to escape for the Urals. And then I don’t even want to think ... but it turns out that all this was not needed.

I did not know any of my grandfathers - one died at the front, the other after the war was a disabled person chained to bed. It turns out that all this was not there. My mother was born on a railway half -land - the victorious country rolled away from Ukraine, people fled in panic and horror - why is it? The remaining relatives died in the ditches and camps - think! None of this was necessary - not millions of dead at the front, torn to be torn, tortured, stolen into slavery of Ukrainians, Belarusians, Moldavians, Jews, nor the saving rear in Transcaucasia and Central Asia, nothing and nobody. And this says a person who recently called the collapse of the Soviet Union the largest geopolitical catastrophe of the twentieth century. What, then, is the catastrophic in this, Vladimir Vladimirovich?

It does not fit in terms of political. The country's prime minister, who has proved the need for integration in the post-Soviet space for twenty years, today says that Russia was not needed at the most important moment in its history. The prime minister of the country, who was on the verge of the most serious interethnic discord in its recent history, with contempt indicates the very need for unity for the sake of a common victory.

This is something amazing, something very far from ordinary instinct - not even political, but human - the instinct of survival: so the boy who turned the bee hive, with the fearlessness of the doom, throws into the thick of the gloomy buzzing swarm. It would be possible to sneak on this, once again surprised that the official who received power on a saucer does not become a politician. But in fact, this is not funny. Because it’s very scary.
