Representatives of the regional branches of political parties and public organizations of Ingushetia adopted an appeal to Russian citizens "in connection with attempts by individual provocateurs and nationalist organizations to destabilize the socio-political and interethnic balance in the country," ITAR-TASS reports.
They declare the unacceptability of attempts to divide citizens of the Russian Federation in ethnic and religious affiliation, giving interethnic coloring to any conflicts. “The criminals have no and cannot have nationality and faith,” the appeal emphasizes. Organizers and participants in the riots will suffer a well -deserved punishment, including criminal, representatives of the public are sure.
"We ask our fellow citizens, especially young, due to various circumstances located outside the region, carefully and with understanding of the culture, traditions and moral landmarks of people, among whom you live, work and study," the appeal says.
The document also calls for the media - not to allow the publication of materials that provoke inciting interethnic growth, ethnic and religious hatred, as well as refrain from voicing the national, territorial and religious affiliation of criminals.
"We cannot and should not allow extremist forces to split into our society and the task of a citizen - to decisively stop any manifestations of nationalism, extremism and enmity," the representatives of public organizations say. They call for the need to "learn lessons from the whole past and do everything so that this is from nowhere and never repeats."
"On behalf of public organizations and regional branches of the political parties of the Republic of Ingushetia, we urge each Russian to realize that we are all citizens of Russia, that we have one country and we are a single people," the appeal emphasizes.
