The Spaniard staged her abduction to "check her husband" and find money for New Year's shopping

The Spanish police arrested a woman who staged its own abduction. The attacker extorted 20 thousand euros from her chosen one to visit New Year's sales, and at the same time check the feelings of the spouse.

As the police explained, shortly before the Christmas holidays, a shocking photograph came to the mobile phone of the missing woman: the picture was in the picture, his wife, tied hand and foot. The following SMS message contained a demand to pay a ransom of 20 thousand euros for the release of a woman. At the same time, extortionists advised in no case to contact the police, writes The Daily Telegraph newspaper.

Nevertheless, the Spaniard turned to the lawyers of order for help. As a result, the police hid the monitoring device in a bag with money for the kidnappers. With his help, it was possible to track the car of attackers.

The suspicious car was stopped in the city of Gandia on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. At the wheel sat a “stolen” woman, and with her there was a bag of money. At first she told the police that the abductors had just let her go, but subsequently confessed that she spent the abduction herself.

According to the woman, she wanted to check what her husband was ready to go for her for. And the criminal intended to spend the money proceeds in such a curious way in the process of New Year's shopping.

It is not yet clear what punishment threatens an enterprising Spaniard. However, in 2008, the Spanish court sentenced the woman to three and a half years in prison in a similar case. The convict extorted money by staging the abduction of his child. The attacker managed to crank up this operation as many as seven times.
