British Prince William and Kate Middleton asked McCartney to sing at their wedding

The grandson of the British Queen Prince William and his bride Kate Middleton were asked the former member of The Beatles Paul McCartney to sing at their wedding, which will be held on April 29 this year. According to the British media, citing one of the friends of the 68-year-old McCartney, Sir Paul was flattered by this proposal and agreed.

"William and Kate have already compiled a list of those invited to the wedding, Paul McCartney appears under the first number among performers. They cannot name anyone else who could so perfectly set the tone for celebrations," the famous musician said. McCartney will sing at a reception that will be held in the Royal Buckingham Palace after the wedding. “He was asked to perform several songs,” said the friend of the ex -participant The Beatles.

The church ceremony of the wedding of William and Kate will take place in the London Westminster Abbey. After the wedding, Kate and William will swing along London in the front royal carriage.
