Domodedovo Airport should not be held responsible for Monday’s terrorist attack, said airport spokeswoman Elena Galanova. According to her, quoted by ITAR-TASS, Domodedovo services complied with all aviation safety requirements.

Galanova clarified that the aviation security services have a zone where only registered passengers enter. And “in the general area of ​​the airport, security is monitored by employees of the line department of internal affairs at Domodedovo transport, who work “in close cooperation” with the airport security services. The explosion, as has already been established, occurred in the area where greeters are waiting for those leaving arriving flights.
