It is believed that this is a problem of a deeply philosophical nature. The Communists calculate at what distance their leader lies below the ground level, and this means that he is buried humanly. Anti-communists urge to fulfill some will and bury it in a Christian. Although, kill God, I don’t understand, what does Christ have to do with it - next to the name of Lenin?

Actually, Ilyich was placed in a time capsule so that everyone who did not have time to do this could say goodbye to him after his death in January 1924. That was like the original version. But now everyone who wanted to say goodbye, not only managed to do it, but almost everyone himself died. Therefore, the mausoleum has long turned into an attraction.

(The Communists, however, still have some additional bacillus in the brain, thanks to which they sacredly believe that to expose the deceased in the fun of the crowd is right and good. How are they upset that this time they were not allowed inside! Lord, have they not seen enough?)

But for others, this is one hundred percent attraction. We will be frank: a huge majority of those who, back in Soviet times, went to the Mausoleum, just wanted to see a marvelous marvel: a corpse - and how alive! Such is the curious nature of man, such is his craving for mysticism. And so it remains to this day. So let's sell tickets in the mausoleum! This will be an absolutely honest approach. The content of the tomb is expensive. And not only those who like the Mausoleum, but also those who do not like it - albeit by a penny, but pay for him, pay for him.

But answering the question, is it time to really take out this body and bury somewhere in a more familiar way, I will say for myself: not and not again! It will be our revenge to the grandfather. He wanted to put a social experiment throughout the country and even on a global scale. And he set him. And I'm not sure that we were able to get rid of this experiment now. So why can't we put a response on his body? He died - he doesn’t care. He did not spare alive, and his disciples were even more so. And we will work with the corpse. We donate it for the purpose of science. These are really very interesting studies that allow you to learn a lot about processes in human tissues, cells, etc. There is no other such sample of such excellent safety and such long storage and will no longer be!

However, there is another option. Which should reconcile me with supporters of traditional burial. Let's not endure Lenin anywhere, let's continue to keep his remains in the current form, but the mausoleum itself will simply close! He will lie where he lies. From the voyerists, you can close not only the entrance to the building, but also the coffin by opaque material. That is, the corpse is not visible, and the experiment continues, and the mausoleum in place, and Lenin in it. In short - a crypt with a scientific burden.

And here, by the way, we will learn something about the Communists. If in this case they are against and will demand an indispensable opportunity to see the body - then we will say with a clear conscience that they are maniacs.
