According to the first deputy chairman of the United Russia faction in the State Duma, Professor Tatyana Yakovleva, the proposals of the United Russia political clubs were prepared based on the results of a meeting on the topic: “The possibility of canceling the seasonal adjustments of the clock hands.” “The decisive role in the abolition of seasonal clock hand adjustments should be played by the factor of the negative impact of clock hand translation on the health of citizens, which ultimately leads not only to a deterioration in the nation’s health indicators, but also to undoubted economic losses (in the form of payment for sick leave, additional costs for medicines ),” said the deputy. She believes that the adverse consequences for the health of citizens are incomparably greater than the effect of saving energy resources.
