* People disappear? According to the Memorial human rights center, cases of the disappearance of Muslims have become more frequent in Moscow and the Moscow region. Human rights activists do not exclude that these disappearance may be associated with the “prevention” of terrorist acts in Moscow. The wives and mothers of seven men who disappeared without a trace after visiting the Moscow mosque have been looking for more than four months, suspecting the abduction of special services employees. What is behind the disappearance of immigrants from the Caucasus - found the New Times
Three Muslim women in long dresses and traditional scarves sit in the kitchen of a rented apartment in the city of Dolgoprudny, Moscow Region. Aneta Sunesheva, her mother -in -law Lyudmila is the mother of Zelimkhan Chibieva, and the Russian girl Alina is the wife of Akila Abdullaeva. They speak in turn, without interrupting each other, patiently repeating in a thousandth, probably, the story of the mysterious disappearance of two Mercedes cars and seven Muslims, who did not return on September 24, 2010 after a Friday prayer from the Moscow mosque on a large Tatar street to their families.

“We drove into this apartment two days before that Friday,” recalls Aneta Suneshev. - Our friends used to live here, Jamal Magomedov and his wife Olga. In the morning on Friday, they drove to us for some things. Olga stayed with me, then Akil Abdullaev and his sister arrived. The sister also stayed with us for the company. And my husband, Magomedov and Abdullaev three went to the mosque. At about nine in the evening, Magomedov called Olga, said that they were returning, already approaching so that she was ready for the exit. And that's it ... Since then there is no news of them. ”
Aneta Sunesheva and Zelimkhan Chibiev arrived in Moscow, because neither in Nalchik, nor in the hometown of Zelimkhan Tyrnyause could find work. And in Moscow, according to Aneta, it is much easier to get a job. She herself lived here even before marriage, worked as a cook, a saleswoman in a halal store, and it turned out quite well. The second of the missing men, Akil Abdullaev, the husband of Alina, originally from Dagestan, lived with his parents in Tambov in recent years, was engaged in farm. There he met Alina, who, even before meeting him, accepted Islam, disappointed in Orthodoxy. Aquil and his wife came from Tambov to Moscow in the case: Alina had to do the operation in front of her eyes.
Aneta Sunsheva says that all night from September 24 to 25 they called friends, looking for their husbands. It turned out that on the same night another “Mercedes” disappeared with four passengers who also returned from Friday prayer. There were five men in the car: Magomed Israpilov, Alexander Khayidov, Anzor Hasanov and two Tajik citizens - Assadov and Hassan Zakachash. Gasanov got out of the car first about two in the morning in the Khovrino area. After 15 minutes, when Anzor began to call his friends to find out how they arrived, their phones no longer answered. For four months of clarity in this matter, it did not increase.
On the morning of September 25, Aneta Sunesheva with Olga Skryabina, the wife of Jamal Magomedov, went in search of her husbands. “First we went to the Dolgoprudny police department,” she recalls. - I didn’t want to take a statement. For a long time they refused various pretexts and took only a month and a half later. The operatives told Olga Skryabina that it seemed that that night three men were detained, who were then transferred to some other car. Then the same operatives said that we were looking for our men on Lubyanka, hinting that they were detained by the UFSB officers. True, after some time they abandoned their previous words: they seemed to misunderstand them. ”
In November, Aneta Suneshev and relatives of the remaining six missing people turned to human rights activists ** to the Civil Proposal Committee and the Memorial Human Rights Office .. After that, the Golovinsk prosecutor’s office of the city of Moscow opened a criminal case under Article 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation Part 2 (“The abduction of two or more persons”). This applies to the second car with four Muslims, the connection with which was interrupted at two in the morning on September 24 in the Khovrino area. And in the ATS of Dolgoprudny, according to the lawyer Emil Taubulatov (represents the interests of Aneta Sunsheva), they did not initiate a criminal case and sent materials to the military investigation department of the Solnechnogorsk garrison of the UK. Why are the military dealing with the disappearance of civilians?
“In this investigative department, an audit was carried out on the fact of excess of powers by unidentified employees of the Federal Security Service of FSB. This means that our assumptions are also true to the disappearance of these seven people involved law enforcement officers who either abducted or killed them, ”says Taubulatov’s lawyer. - But the other day, the deputy chief of the investigation department, Alexei Manshin, told me that the audit was completed and they send the case materials back to the Dolgoprudny department. They did not want to initiate a criminal case, believing that it was not in their competence to look for unidentified employees of the Federal Security Service. ”
Will they look for their ATS of Dolgoprudny? To the questions of The New Times, both Solnechnogorsk and Dolgoprudny, the investigation officers refused to answer.
"Chegenization" of Russia
“Agree, it is quite strange that people who were traveling in different cars from one place disappear without a trace with a difference of several hours,” says Oleg Orlov, head of the Memorial PC. - There are no such coincidences. I can only build assumptions. Maybe they followed one or two, set the circle of their acquaintances. Interested in why these people were together. I understand how it happens in the North Caucasus: two people were detained, they tortured them, they could not stand it and died. But when it comes to a large number of people, it is strange to me: where are they going to go? Are they really eliminated, as in Chechnya? I cannot exclude that the special services have operational data on the preparation of terrorist attacks in Moscow and maybe they thus work out different versions. Surely there are other cases when people disappear like this, and we just do not know about them. The historical mosque in Moscow, of course, is under the tight control of the special services. ”
“We are dealing with the“ leaky ”of Russia,” Svetlana Gannushkina, chairman of the Civil Property Committee, interprets the situation. - Employees of law enforcement agencies use the methods that they worked out during the counter -terrorist operation in Chechnya: abduction, violent disappearance, content in illegal prisons. The fact that the process will go this way, we warned for a long time. It is impossible to create such a situation in a single country, when hell is happening in one part of it, and in others, developed democracy and legality. ”
Gannushkina says that since the fall of 2010, information about the abductions of people began to enter the human rights activists, and the circumstances of these abductions indicated that law enforcement officers could be involved in them.
Found in a pre -trial detention center
A resident of Ingushetia Alikhan Ortskhanov arrived in Moscow on October 13, 2010, got a job as a guard to park construction equipment. On November 1, he went for lunch and disappeared. Brother Bekhan came to his search from Ingushetia. He turned to the police, to hospitals, to the morgues. I also turned to human rights activists. And on November 8, the FSB investigator called him a mobile, who said that his brother was in the Lefortovo pre -trial detention center and is suspected of illegal turnover of weapons and involvement in illegal armed groups. He allegedly committed crimes in Ingushetia and North Ossetia. The investigator said that Alikhan was detained on November 3. He could not answer the question of where the visitor from Ingushetia was kept from November 1 to 3, but claimed that from the moment he was detained, he was given a lawyer and he immediately began to give conference.
“It is logical to assume that the FSB in Moscow acts on a scheme worked in the North Caucasus,” Oleg Orlov believes. - The abduction, “work” with the abducted in the early days, “a confession” and only then the official detention, the provision of a lawyer on duty, the registration of confession. ”
Police-abrequtering
If in the case of Alikhan Ortshanov the situation is quite understandable, then the story that happened with the Dagestan Mahmud R. (the name changed) looks quite strange. At the end of October 2010, relatives of Dagestan Mirza Mamaev, who came to work in Moscow, contacted the Memorial, who came to the Memorial. They said that Mirza disappeared with his friend Mahmoud, after they were stopped by police officers to verify documents. Quite by accident at that moment, someone called Mahmoud, and he said that they were being checked by documents. His phone did not answer anymore. The next day, the Third Dagestan - Gamzat Halls disappeared. According to his uncle, someone made an appointment at one of the Moscow stations. He did not return home after this meeting.
“In early November last year, we became aware that one of the three stolen, Mahmoud, was released,” says Oleg Orlov. - We met with him. He said that at the entrance to the metro he and Mirza Mamaev, police officers stopped. They were brought up in some kind of lane, and soon he felt that he was put on a hat on his head from behind. He felt a blow to the head and lost consciousness. Woke up in a dark room. Mahmud does not remember what they talked to. Most likely, he is afraid to talk about it. It seemed to him that in this dark room he spent two days, but in fact - seven days. A week later, he was taken to the street, put it in a car - in a hat pushed on his eyes - and landed in the same place where they took it. He got to his sister’s apartment and now says that he does not want to remember what had happened to him. But we persuaded him to testify to investigators. Although the case of kidnapping was still not excited. ”
Orlov says that in the story of the disappearance of Dagestanis there is its own logic. According to human rights activists, one of the missing relatives are connected with the militants, his sister’s husband was killed during a special operation. It is possible that the FSB had some kind of operational information on this person. But this does not mean that he himself is involved in some crimes and that it was possible to detain him in such an illegal way.
Without hope *
“We no longer know where to go,” says Aneta Suncheva. -If our husbands are at least guilty of something, let them tell us about it. All this time we eat only rumors. We tried to find out through friends what could have happened to our men - it was told: "Do not go into this matter."
The hopes that the case of the disappearance of seven will be disclosed in the near future is extremely few. It is enough to recall the abduction of four relatives of the Ingush oppositionist Maksharip Aushev, who disappeared in St. Petersburg in October 2009 (The New Times No. 18 of May 31, 2010). Their wives conducted their own investigation, found witnesses of abduction, whose stories leave no doubt: employees of special services were involved in the disappearance of four Ingush. But the official investigation for a year and a half from the dead point did not move.
