The enemy

The process of "opposition against Putin" is one of the most interesting and important events of the new millennium. At least in Russia. I will even venture to assume that the future of the country is partly dependent on the outcome of the case.

It collides with two implacable concepts.

On the one hand, this is a faith in the triumph of a free word expressed by a free person in a free country. I wanted to - and expressed it. And not in a whisper in your kitchen, in a close circle of like -minded people, but loudly for all of Russia. On TV! Here you immediately recall the great French philosopher, enlightener, poet, prose writer, historian, publicist, human rights activist Francois-Marie Voltaire with his immortal phrase: "I do not agree with your opinion, but is ready to give life for you to express it." This position is defended by Vladimir Putin. He appeals to the disagreement.

On the other hand, we see the opposition who filed a lawsuit against the Prime Minister, who allegedly offended their honor and slandered them. These people oppose freedom in all its forms - philosophical, educational, moral, civilian and as a way to Potryndate. It is also noticeable that they are not ready to give their lives for Vladimir Putin. On the contrary, they consider him a liar, and one of them even called the national leader the "goat".

Not wanting to conduct a conversation on the merits, they take him to the side, imposing an abstract discussion about the so -called "truth" to society. Using the insignificant fact that Putin told Akhinea, the oppositions want to recover a large fine from him, or even put him in prison if the process of slander is taking place. That is, they encroach not only in freedom of speech, but also want to enrich themselves at the expense of the defendant and enjoy the sight of his moral suffering.

With such dangerous people it is necessary to behave extremely carefully, and Ms. Zvereva from VGTRK a thousand times the right called to the court, saying yesterday that he does not know whether Putin’s performance has been preserved. They could have erased this "direct line", right? Showed in repeat on all channels - and washed it off, doesn’t it happen? And if there is a cassette by chance, then the words of the lawyer of Prime Minister Elena Zabralova will gain a special weight, who indicated the court that each citizen of the Russian Federation is guaranteed freedom of speech, and referred to the International Convention on Human Rights. And he should not and will not “provide any evidence” at the same time. What else wanted - evidence!

After all, what did Putin say when he was asked about the opposition? They dried up, said. They dragged, said, along with Berezovsky and with those who are now in places of imprisonment, there are many billions. They were dragged from the feeder, they said they were in place, they want to return and replenish their pockets, and sell Russia. How do you prove this?

Of course, it is easier to prove who and how to attach to St. Petersburg rare earth metals and whom Berezovsky, poor, dragged him to the Kremlin on his hump. And to whom the feeder belongs today - you won’t take the legs. But this has not the slightest attitude to the topic that we are now discussing. We are talking about Voltaire, about the International Convention, about our basic law, about the first amendment to the American Constitution finally! This is what the gentlemen of Nemtsov, Milov and Ryzhkov should have thought about before bringing the femid cast iron scales on the opponent’s head.

It is especially difficult to talk about this, recalling the defendant’s performance on the first television channel yesterday. Having generously forgive his enemies and soar at the same time to the heights of the truly Voltaire, he stated that he was not objecting to the appearance on the air of federal television channels of representatives of the opposition. Although he knows, and sees, and hears that "they lie." However, "someone should lie, because someone wants to hear this lies."

The faces of the presenters who listened to his words were outwardly calm, but I saw: they hold back tears. And millions of viewers, I have no doubt, just sobbed at that moment, shocked by the grandeur of a minute. Giving an example of free -loving lies, he allowed all of us to lie - in the name of freedom! I’m only afraid that only descendants will be able to evaluate this feat, and contemporaries will viciously delight the defeat of the great man in the Savelovsky court of Moscow. Or, most likely, they will appreciate his difficult victory in the process as an impudent triumph of lawlessness and lies.
