UEFA will not impose sanctions against Ukraine

The membership of Ukraine in UEFA will not be suspended. This was stated in the French city of Reims, President of UEFA Michel Platini. "The situation has returned to normal. Ukraine is no longer threatened with the suspension of membership," ITAR -TASS reports the words of Platini.

Recall that UEFA on January 28 demanded that the Ukrainian authorities provide guarantees that its representatives will terminate the intervention in the activities of the National Association - the Football Federation of Ukraine.

Otherwise, UEFA threatened to deprive the right of the Ukrainian team in competitions held under the auspices of UEFA, as well as prohibit the holding of the 2012 European Championship in the country.

The official representative of FFU Sergey Vasiliev assured the Western media today that the Ukrainian Federation "without commenting on UEFA letters and respecting it, being a member of this organization, will fulfill its requirements."
