The flight departure is postponed. Passengers were temporarily placed in a hotel, reports ITAR-TASS.
Pretty soon, the Chilean police identified the author of the anonymous call about the laid bomb. According to the police commissar of the South American country Roberto Tolos, the attacker was 30-year-old Chilika, who did not want her fiancé to fly to Madrid.
At first, she called Santiago International Airport and stated that her friend’s father had an accident and was in serious condition in the hospital. When this did not work, she called again and reported a bomb on board the plane.
The police tracked the call, which was made from the same phone number. Currently, the Chileyka is detained and will soon appear before the trial.
