In the Volgograd region, police detained an employee of the Russian Post, who is suspected of staging a robbery. According to investigators, the entrepreneurial postman, together with a relative, was simulating an attack on herself and the theft of several hundred thousand rubles. Now she faces a six -year term of imprisonment.

310 thousand rubles intended to pay pensions from the city of Kotelnikovo became the prey of swindlers from the city of Kotelnikovo, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the representative of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate in the region.

"The member of the communications department in the city of Kotelnikovo appealed on February 4 to the police with a statement that two unknown young people attacked her and stole a bag of money," the police explained. According to the "victim", the attack was committed at the house No. 11 on Limannaya Street. The "victim" was able to describe in detail the signs of the attackers, after which their search began.

But in the end, on suspicion of theft, the postman and her unemployed previously convicted relative named Strelnikov were detained, reports “Height 102.0” .

“The suspects confessed to the deed. The stolen money was seized in full,” the representative of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate added. The criminal case was opened under part 3 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft), which provides for six years in prison.

Note that over the past two weeks, this is at least the second case, when the postal workers spent their own robbery. On January 24, in the Trans -Baikal Territory, the police took up the search for the missing postman. The disappearance of the young man in law enforcement was announced by his mother, a resident of the village of Gazimursky Plant. According to her, the son went to spread pensions and newspapers in the morning, but did not appear at the addresses and in the mail.

Three search groups from among the employees of the district police department were created in the village. The police entered every house where the postman brought money on the eve, checked vehicles. The next day, the next day it was possible to find out that for the last time the missing mail employee was seen in the store when he bought beer, cigarettes and sausages. By the evening, the postman himself came home, where law enforcement officers were waiting for him, Zabinfo.ru reports.

To police officers, the man told the story of his abduction and robbery. He said that the attackers took him into the forest and threw him there. All the time that had past from that moment reached the house, fro his legs. However, the postman failed to convince the operatives of the veracity of such a version.

The police went to the forest at night in the footsteps of the postman, and "professional flair did not let them down," the publication claims. In the forest, police officers discovered a bonfire near which the missing person was warming, and there was a place for storage of a bag of pensioners. Under the weight of evidence, the postman admitted that he wanted to assign 25 thousand rubles.

Now the issue of initiating a criminal case is being resolved immediately under two articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - 160 (assignment or embezzlement), as well as 306 (knowingly false denunciation). The thief postman has already been fired from work.
