Another lecture from the cycle public lectures “Polit.ru” will be devoted to the topic “The World of Party Systems and the Party System of the World”. A doct. Polit. Nauk, professor of the European University in St. Petersburg, director of the Gelix Center Grigory Golosov , will perform with her. The lecture will tell about the main theoretical approaches to party systems and the principles of their classification in relation to democratic and authoritarian regimes. The methods of quantitative assessment and classification of party systems developed by the author will also be presented and party systems that exist in the modern world are characterized.
