Thus began aplastic anemia, a disease in which the bone marrow does not produce blood cells. Now Amina is being treated in Moscow - at the RDBC.

Amina met the New Year in the hospital, Santa Claus gave her a Nastya doll - the same fashionista with whom Amina does not part. Amina and her mother now live in an outpatient apartment and come to the hospital 2-3 times a week to transfuse donor platelets. Doctors are trying to "wake up" Amina's bone marrow with medicines so that it works at full strength. While treatment is underway, the girl's bone marrow does not produce cells responsible for immunity. Any infection can be fatal for Amina. Therefore, the girl is receiving the antifungal drug Vfend. This is a very effective and expensive medicine, which is not paid from the state budget. Amina needs 18 packs of Vfend for a course of treatment, totaling about 500,000 rubles. Amina's family doesn't have that kind of money. Her mother cannot work, and her father stayed at home with four children.
