The City Court of St. Petersburg refused to cancel the arrest to the activist of the art group "War" Oleg Vorotnikov. According to Kasparov.ru, the lawyer of the arrested Anastasia Yakimovskaya reported this. "A cassation appeal was filed against the extension of Oleg Vorotnikov’s custody. The court rejected the complaint," she said.

The collars will remain in custody until February 24. After that, the court will decide the issue of extending the arrest.

The court postponed the hearing of the cassation appeal of the arrest of Leonid Nikolaev on February 21. As his lawyer Dmitry Dinze explained, the complaint has not yet reached the court.

War activists were detained in Moscow on November 15, 2010.
