Media: Mubarak fell into a coma

Earlier, information appeared that the ex-head of Egypt twice lost consciousness during the recording of an appeal to the people in which he transferred power to the former vice president Omar Suleiman.

On February 11, Omar Suleiman announced the resignation of Mubarak. The government has passed to the Higher Council of the Armed Forces of Egypt. On February 13, the military suspended the constitution and dismissed the parliament. According to Associated Press, both chambers of the parliament have already stopped working. The head of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense Hussein Tantavi, temporarily intend to manage the domestic policy of the country and represent it in the international arena.

It is assumed that the Higher Council will rule all the time of the "transition period", which will last six months or until the next parliamentary elections. Earlier, the military made a statement in which they promised that the government would continue its work in the current composition, and Egypt will comply with all international agreements and agreements concluded earlier. Last Friday, immediately after the statement of Mubarak’s resignation, the military also promised not to usurp power, transferring it to civilians after the transitional period.

A message about the resignation of Hosnie Mubarak caused a mass glee on the streets of Egyptian cities. On the streets of Cairo, despite the commandant hour, huge traffic jams from buzzing cars decorated with national flags were formed. The center of the celebrations was Tahrir Square - the headquarters of the Egyptian revolutionaries, where most people gathered. The demonstrators chanted: "Goodbye, Mubarak!"

Mubarak's resignation was preceded by more than two weeks of confrontation. During the mass protests and followed riots in Egypt, at least 300 people or more than 5 thousand were injured.
