A new batch of militants from Kazakhstan was detained in Makhachkala

In the Soviet district of Makhachkala, two inhabitants of Kazakhstan - participants in illegal armed groups were detained. The militants were taken as Alaska-20 traffic police on the Akushinsky Avenue, an Interfax source in law enforcement agencies said on Monday.

He noted that both detainees were wanted for the commission of crimes under Articles 208 (the organization of the NVF or participation in it), 222 (illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or wearing of weapons) and 223 (illegal production of weapons) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

Earlier it was reported that in the south of Russia several people are being searched for who could arrive from Kazakhstan to carry out terrorist attacks. It was assumed that the bandit group consisted of four to five people, both men and women could be in it.

On the night of February 9 to 10, Makhachkala was detained by two suspects of participating in illegal armed groups (NVF), which, as reported, may be citizens of Kazakhstan. The militants were blocked in one of the apartments of a multi -storey building on Shamil Street and surrendered after negotiations.

In October 2010, the militant Yerlan Yusupov was destroyed in Dagestan, who, according to unofficial data, was also a citizen of Kazakhstan. Kazakhstani passports were found in 2009 on the bodies of liquidated mercenaries.
