A week has passed, and I thought that my shock of meeting with the beautiful would somehow cloud. But the shock gave way to another feeling: I met a very scary person. And we need to talk about it. For if we live, well, at least a little, at least in some places in a normal country, then his superiors must draw conclusions. If my illusions are groundless, then citizens need to know about him and try to minimize their communication with a person who can significantly affect their fate.
I visited the investigator of the Presnensky Interdistrict Investigation Department of the Investigation Department for the Central Administrative District, the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee (as he dictated to me), Ivan Borisovich Bugrov. He was supposed to interrogate me on my long-standing complaint to the Prosecutor General's Office, which I forgot to even think about. Well, yes, civic duty must be fulfilled, she came. Ivan Borisovich turned out to be a well-dressed young man of about 25. He dumbfounded me from the doorway, saying that I was writing complaints incorrectly: firstly, there is a lot of “superfluous information”, and secondly, there is no such body that I complain about - SK MIA. I was taken aback and clarified: well, this is the one that Anichin heads. You have Bastrykin, they have Anichin. Looks like he didn't believe me. Anyway. They began to draw up a paper that I must sign. And there I must sign for the fact that my rights and obligations were explained to me. She asked for clarification. Then the young man became furious and said that he was not a legal consultation, and he did not have the Constitution at hand. At this point, I took out and turned on the recorder. He, of course, did not allow, for this I had to ask him to tell me on the basis of what, in fact. Well, he spat on this matter - left it on. Well, fine. Through stumps and decks, we nevertheless got to the Constitution. According to Ivan Borisovich's interpretation, my constitutional duty is to answer when asked.
While we were distracted by something insignificant - the Constitution, I suddenly found under my nose, literally in centimeters, scattered pieces of paper: decisions to refuse to initiate a criminal case, decisions to initiate, a decision to appoint a psychiatric examination in a murder case, a transcript of conversations in a certain office on Sadovo-Kudrinskaya ... I read out the names, addresses and contents to him and the recorder and asked: “Is it normal that I see all this and read it aloud?” He didn't understand. That is, my young man had never heard of Gleb Zheglov and Volodya Sharapov either. My lawyer then scolded me that I went to the young man without him, because, as it turned out, the investigator had to enter into his papers that a record was being kept. However, my lawyer lives in some other world, in the world of laws, and then, together with me, he wonders how alone he and I are in that world. But I forced the young man to rewrite our final paper with him, because in addition to wild mistakes in terms of the Russian language, there were serious turns of speech that could lead to sad consequences. Well, for example, I tell a young man that my husband decided to go out of business with his partner and offered to negotiate a division of assets. The young man writes: "And my husband began to demand money." Agree, there is a difference, and purely criminal.
At the end of the session - this is when I had already signed a more or less Russian-language explanation - it suddenly turned out that the person who had been nearby all the time and whom I had taken for a colleague Ivan Borisovich suddenly got up and said goodbye so that it became clear: this person was a complete stranger . Maybe a fixer, or maybe hire an Mi-6, go and understand now.
I saw different investigators during the three years of my intensive other life. To be honest, I met smart and decent people, and there are no less of them than the fingers on the hand, which is a lot. I met the stupid and dishonorable. I met deep drinkers from the horror of the profession, but heroic ones. There were many things, but I met such a virgin brain for the first time. A teacher leapt up in me - well, sometimes in my SU-HSE I can pull out the secret from the inveterate loser, and I like to do this, because the secret knowledge is cleaner than other lectures. I tried to break into the subcortex: maybe there are some beliefs, dreams, naive ideals? It didn't work out. I gave him a greatly simplified speech about the fight against corruption, at the end of which the young man asked me a sincere question: who is Alexei Navalny? It was on the day when the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, where the young man works, canceled the decision to refuse to initiate proceedings against the famous blogger.
No, I do not claim this ignorance - as the young man rightly noted, he is not obliged to read everything that we write. But that he would sometimes read the Constitution and be able to retell it in his own words, still somehow I would like. This young man will grow into a boss and ruin the lives of many in his generation - smart, caring and read the Constitution, my favorite students. How my peers, whom we once multiplied by zero as limited, illiterate and indifferent people, greatly ruined the life of the whole country. Because we didn't stop them. Naively deciding that they will destroy themselves with their stupidity.
