The scandal with the Vladivostok customs officers who shot a video clip about their "sweet life" is developing. After the federal media "picked up" a remake of the Band'Eros composition that appeared on YouTube, an inspection from Moscow came to Vladivostok. The Primorsky Transport Prosecutor's Office, for its part, established the names of 13 customs officers involved in the filming (including those who appeared in the frame).
“Persons involved in the creation of this video, including those who took part in the filming, are being interviewed. A local company has also been identified that filmed the video, ”said Fyodor Stepurin, senior assistant to the Primorsky transport prosecutor. The attention of the supervisory authorities was attracted by several moments: the shooting was carried out on the territory of one of the customs posts, in the frame, employees in uniform gushed champagne and danced frivolously, scattering cargo declarations, and one of them even rode on his stomach on the floor - without taking off, of course, forms. Thus, the artists in green uniforms, as Vladimir Zubkov, deputy head of the public relations department of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, said earlier, "dealed a blow to the reputation of the customs service as a whole," which means that "strict measures up to and including dismissal" should be taken against them.
Experts without shoulder straps, however, consider the video harmless entertainment, filmed for their own pleasure. Rumor has it that the authorities of the Vladivostok customs during the New Year's "corporate party" spoke positively about the video, and it was not the shooting itself that caused dissatisfaction, but the video getting on the Web and, as a result, the sharp reaction of the Moscow authorities.
Everyone knew about corruption and red tape at customs (not only in Vladivostok) even before, as well as about cars that are clearly beyond the reach of an honest employee of a government agency. If you punish dishonest customs officers, then it is for this, and not for “creativity”. “If this was filmed at a New Year's corporate party for internal use, there is nothing shameful in this,” says Sergey Matlin, a member of the board of the Primorsky KVN. - If the video did not harm anyone, did not offend anyone, then what's the problem? The guys showed off, made fun, showed themselves creatively ... If now they want to be fired, it means that they do not have a very healthy boss.
According to Fedor Stepurin, the check will be completed by the end of this week. So far, all the "artists" are working quietly and are not going to quit of their own free will.
