The fans of Spartak and Dynamo first agreed not in the forest and not in the wasteland somewhere on the outskirts of the city-in the ring, as part of an official tournament for various types of struggle. This is a direct result of the meeting of Prime Minister Vladimir Putin with fans after the events on Manezhnaya Square
For the first Street Fighting League martial arts, the Sokolniki Palace of Sokolniki was rented between fans of Spartak and Dynamo. 9 battles passed: three on boxing, three on mixFight (battle without rules) and three in karate-1 (another type of battle without rules). With a score of 6: 0, with three draws, fans of Spartak won. According to the official version voiced by The New Times, the President of the All -Russian Society of Fans (VOB) Alexander Shoplygin, the organizers of the tournament were the clubs themselves: this, de, was a long -standing initiative of fans, now approved by the Ministry of Sports. According to the unofficial version, the holding of such an event became possible after the meeting of fans with Vladimir Putin on December 21, 2010. Then, during the open part of the meeting, the prime minister promised to attract fans to the work of the organizing committee for the preparation of the 2018 World Cup. During the communication behind closed doors, according to The New Times, fans complained about the absence of halls, financing, and Putin promised that they would not regret the fan needs.

“Fans will now be flooded with money,” one of the organizers of the tournament told The New Times. “They will allocate money for any projects, if only no one went to the streets anymore and participated in performances.” “The guys leave the streets, the fans in a civilized form find out the relationship in the ring - this is in a sense a new milestone,” the Vob Shiprogin President is also sure. “Of course, such tournaments will not solve all problems with fans in the stands, but this is an attempt to direct the fans enthusiasm into a civilized course.”

The first attempt was not too successful: the ordinary fans, those who, in fact, arranged a pogrom on Manezhnaya Square, did not cause an official tournament: to see the allowed fights in the stands of Sokolnikov, together with the President of the Russian Football Union, Sergey Fursenko gathered from the strength of 1000 people.
