11 pimps were convicted in Tatarstan

The court in Tatarstan found 11 people guilty of organizing dens, involving prostitution, sexual violence and abduction. On Monday, February 21, the press service of the IC of Russia reports .

The investigation and the court found that from 2001 to 2008, the leader of the criminal group Dmitry Glazyrin, together with other members of the criminal group, created an extensive network of dens in Kazan. Girls from Kazan and nearby regions, including minors, were involved in the brothels. For refusing to provide sexual services, the victims were beaten, violence and extortion of money for the opportunity to leave the agency.

The court appointed nine convicts from eight to thirteen years in prison, two accomplices of crimes-five years in prison conditionally and eight months of imprisonment with serving in a colony-settlement, respectively.
