In Japanese Osaka, the robots marathon started - 42 km of Androids will go for at least three days

In the Japanese city of Osaka, a marathon of red -hot robots started. Androids will have to overcome 422 circles along a hundred-meter treadmill of the covered stadium, for which, according to the estimates of the organizers, they will need three to four days. The organizers hope that the competition will end on February 27, when the traditional "human" marathon starts in Tokyo, Vesti.ru reports.

During the distance, robots will be evaluated by speed, strength and maneuverability. It is allowed to stop only to replace the batteries or urgent repair.

Only robots with two legs developed by companies and universities from the Prefecture of Osaka are allowed to the race. In total, five androids were registered in the marathon. The well -known VSTONE Robot Center and specialists of the Osak Technological University in Japan put their participants in Japan.

Among them are high -tech models that independently calculate the distance and determine the trajectory of movement using a video camera, and those that barely move on their two.

The height of the highest android is only 40 centimeters. Each participant in the race will be watched around the clock.
