In the east of Moscow, a police officer was wounded - Major Gagik Binyamyan. An unknown person ran up to the district commissioner from the strong point from the back and fired at him from unidentified weapons. After that, the attacker disappeared from the scene, reports ITAR-TASS .

According to Radio Freedom, when the policeman drove up to the stronghold, the unknown man went to the car and shot three times.

The attack occurred in the area of ​​house 19 along the Shchelkovo highway at about 18 hours 20 minutes. The victim was hospitalized in one of the Moscow hospitals. The duty officer of the information and public relations of the capital's Central Internal Affairs Directorate, Anatoly Lastovetsky, said that he had not yet been able to detain the shooter, his wanted list is being carried out.

Viktor Golovanov, the head of the Moscow criminal investigation department, arrived at the scene and the heads of the Internal Affairs Directorate in the Eastern Administrative District. The scene is cordoned off.
