WBA champion in heavyweight British David Hay expressed the hope that Ukrainian boxer Vitaly Klitschko will win over Cuban Odlanier Solis in a duel that will take place on March 19.
“I hope that Vitaly will not lose,” Hay said, whose words are quoted bythe Daily Star . “I do not want to lose the opportunity to meet him in a decisive confrontation, as well as a chance to win all four belts and beat an older brother.”
According to Hay, the outcome of the Saturday confrontation will depend on the form in which the Cuban athlete will be.
“Much depends on that Solis. How Vitaly will behave in the ring is known. He will achieve his advantage due to high growth and is ready to fight all 12 rounds. He has a strong chin, and Solis is unlikely to knock him out. Kuban can defeat Klitschko due to the correctly selected strategy. And if anyone except me on the planet can do this, then this is solic. ”
“The 120-kilogram Solis is unlikely to win Vitaly, but 100-kilogram Solis would be capable of this. Everything will depend on whether he put his form in order. And if he did this, it will be dangerous for Klitschko. ”
Talking about the possible fight of Hay with one of the Klitschko brothers has been conducted over the past few years, but the case is limited only to regular accusations of the parties to the press against each other. On March 19, Vitaly Klitschko will meet with Cuban Odlanier Solis in Cologne.
