The 7x7 correspondent talked with the first secretary of the RESKOM of the Communist Party of the Communist Party Vyacheslav Shulepov, who personally observed the recounting of votes in the disputed 140th site and attended a meeting of the election commission.

- The commission completed the work. At first they counted, read, and then the results of the elections were canceled in the 140th site, and in the end it turned out that in the remaining sections, Budovsky won the election unanimously.

- Why did you decide to cancel the voting results in the section No. 140?

- During the count, it turned out that out of 211 ballots, in which voters cast their vote for Gorbachev, 6 ballots were spoiled, and vice versa, one among the damaged ballots turned out to be valid in favor of Budovsky. Given these calculations, Budovsky won two votes in the district as a whole. But when the commission began to bend the results, it turned out that the numbers do not fight in the protocol and in other documents, and then they decided to completely cancel the elections in the 140th site. And according to the results of the elections in all other areas, Budovsky scored more Gorbachev for one vote.
