According to him, special attention is currently being paid to drinking water. “That is why we offered water filtration installations to our Japanese colleagues, so that a normal drinking regime could be organized,” Shoigu said.

In his opinion, Russia can provide humanitarian assistance to Tokyo, as well as accept victims in a sanatorium and, if necessary, consider the issue of employing Japanese in “sparsely populated areas” of Siberia and the Far East.
