World science may have acquired a new source of evidence of Jesus Christ and the final years of His earthly life. According to the London media on Monday, the group of scientists managed to decipher part of the sacred text applied 2 thousand years ago on manuscripts made from lead.

About 70 books, each of which contains several lead pages stolen by wire, were discovered 5 years ago in the north of Jordan by local residents. The find kept secret, as secret attempts were made to sell this ancient library.

But after several potential buyers turned to scientists to conduct an examination for authenticity, the general public found out about the treasure. It is reported that on the sheets made from a thin lead, an encrypted text based in Hebrew is an encrypted text - Hebrew. At the same time, its authors were widely used by hieroglyphs, reports ITAR-TASS.

After hard work, specialists from English Oxford University managed to decipher part of the text. It speaks of the Messiah and Ascension. They believe that we are talking in lead books about Christ, notes the London weekly "The Sunday Times".

It is expected that the official announcement of the partial decoding of the most ancient books will be held on Tuesday.
