Jerusalem (Reuters) - more than 20 people were injured as a result of an explosion at the bus in the center of Jerusalem, the police said. The explosion occurred between the building of the main bus station of the city and the meeting room nearby. At the scene, many ambulances are visible. According to the ambulance service, Magen David Adom, no one died as a result of the incident. A bus with broken glasses and blood on the sidewalk is visible on the direct television. Judging by these frames, the explosive device worked outside the bus. Because of the explosion, the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu postponed his visit to Russia, which was supposed to take place on Wednesday. In the past few years, such incidents are quite rare in Jerusalem, although since the outbreak of the second “intifada” in 2000, Palestinians have arranged dozens of explosions in the city.
