Representatives of the committee also said that re-restoration requires road surfaces repaired in winter at the sites where utility network accidents were eliminated. As the air temperature increased, the asphalt in such areas began to sag.

After a special commission survey of the condition of roads, a final assessment of the condition of the street and road network of St. Petersburg will be made. The monitoring results are used to adjust targeted routine repair programs.

Currently, within the framework of targeted programs for current and major road repairs, it is planned to repair over 300 road facilities, reports the press service of the Committee for the Development of Transport Infrastructure.

In particular, the necessary work will be carried out on the English Embankment and the Kryukov Canal embankment, Peat Road, as well as Vernost and Marshal Kazakov streets.

The targeted capital repair program also assumes that repairs on Dobrolyubova Avenue and Torzhkovskaya Street will be completed by the end of the year. Specialists have already begun a major overhaul of tram tracks on Obukhovskaya Oborony Avenue from Tkachi Street to Sinopskaya Embankment, Marshal Govorova Street, as well as on Gorokhovaya and Bolshaya Konyushennaya streets. In addition, work is underway on Kronverksky Avenue and the Gorskaya-Osinovaya Roshcha highway.
