Andrey Kozlov, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor at St. Petersburg State University

Andrey Kozlov graduated from the Faculty of Biology of St. Petersburg State University and studied at the graduate school of the Research Institute of Oncology named after. N. N. Petrova, trained under a grant from the International Agency for Research on Cancer at the National Cancer Institute (USA) in the laboratory of Robert Galo, co-discoverer (together with Luc Montagnier) of HIV. Currently, Andrey Kozlov is the head of the Biomedical Center of St. Petersburg State University, the head of the laboratory at the State Research Institute of Highly Pure Biological Preparations, the chairman of the annual international conference “AIDS, Cancer and Public Health”, the head of the project for the development of an HIV vaccine, and the leading researcher of several international scientific projects. He took part in the development of the federal AIDS law.
