The life of a cheerful, plump baby has changed, her hospital has become her home. By March 2011, she had already had three courses of chemotherapy and radiation. If everything goes well, then Lera and her mother will have to spend another year in the oncology center on Kashirka. The child needs long-term treatment for stage 3 cancer.

Lera has no immunity at all, and all the funds have to be spent on good nutrition and treatment.

Mom is always with the child in the hospital, and the senior lieutenant's salary is not even enough for medicines. The Melnikov family appeals to all kind people for help.
