The State Duma deputies, together with Rosrybolovstvo, are already refining a fishing law and promise soon - until the end of 2011 - to adopt it. The law, according to its developers, “will be aimed at providing open access to water bodies, improving the practice of distributing fishing areas, as well as establishing the procedure for operating these sections by tenants”. On April 15, parliamentary hearings on the project are scheduled, and the last day in the Duma will be reported by the extreme one. The attention of the federal media - including television channels - is such that the authorities have no choice “to do nothing”.

The devil is in the little things. It is incomprehensible (at least amateur fishermen) why money should now be paid for being free. Moreover, no one is going to cancel the already held contests and the tenants will take money. “Those entrepreneurs who have already won the contests should remain in their own right and organize sports and amateur fishing.
