The publication that is not made by journalists. A publication emanating from the scientific and expert community and civil society. Journalists can and will turn on, but not spoil the lunch.

Then we see the broadcast of this approach - in the columns of Gazeta.ru and Vedomosti, unfortunately, the deceased “comments” of Kommersant, in the “elephant” - in any case, early -, etc.

An intellectual cafe in which you can arrange a lecture, literary readings, a concert, buy a book, have lunch, appoint negotiations or interviews, calmly work out all day, and then find a vaguely or confidently familiar people at neighboring tables, with whom I just wanted to spend the evening.

Expert seminars - as if open, but closed. Opened by their product and fundamental installation on the variety of those present. Closed by the absence of meaningless fans who came to show themselves.

Public lectures , as if referring to the old, pre -revolutionary tradition, and then to the experience of remarkable humanities of the surge of stagnation and perestroika. But still new ones - according to the super -skeleton, format and selection.

Who does not conduct lectures now? A new problem arose - orientation in the array. Until Dima does not take care, it will still not be clear how to combine the fullness of the aggregation and taste.

At some point, Dima will see the problem and will rush with her for a week. And then the idea will appear.

She will definitely cause us horror: “And what should we do about it now? They lived so well - and again the revolution. " I will have a desire to explain why it is definitely impossible-or at least harmful.

As experience shows, the first task is to understand what Dima means in mind. The second is not to reject the idea from the threshold. For many years, I almost learned to start the answer not with “no”, but at least with “yes and no”.

In the process of disputes, it will be possible to reach something, as if not similar to the original Dimino description, but in fact - exactly the same, the appearance of which he wanted to provoke. And then a new format will be born again.

It is pointless to declare that he was not invented by the formats. That there were always other wonderful people nearby. Of course there were. But there would not be Dima - and they would not be nearby.

He loves to gather people, treat them to each other. And also - treat it with delicious ideas, dishes and extracted from a long story with institutional jokes.

There are people living in written texts, and people living in conversations. Not those that save from silence, but those of which understanding and business are born. Dima belongs to the second.
