Laureates of the Nick National Cinematographic Prize for 2010 were announced in Moscow - the main film award in Russia, the CIS and Baltic countries. Established in 1987 by the Secretariat of the Union of Cinematographers of the USSR at the initiative of Julia Gusman and Viktor Merezhko, “Nika” was first awarded according to the results of the vote, in which all members of the Confederation of the Union could participate. Then, since the 1990s, representatives of the Russian Academy of Kinematographic Arts began to be determined by the winners. Laureates in each of the nominations are awarded with bronze and a gilded figurine of the winged goddess Nicky, its author is the sculptor Sergey Mikulsky.

Previously, Yura was not nominated for Nick, although, he says, he really wanted to. At the same time, the actor and director emphasized, he does not feel euphoria about “Nika” now. Having received a figurine from the hands of the writer and poet Dmitry Bykov, Jurassic simply said that he was “glad” and thanked everyone “for honor and dignity”.

Nina Ruslanova received “Nick” for “Best Actress”. Contrary to the common opinion that Kira Muratova, the actress, according to Muratova herself, would open Ruslanova herself “in a day or two” herself.
