Immediately after the nomination of the “War” they even wanted to exclude them from the lists, because none of the members of the art group confirmed the nomination. But she protested the public, and they left the “war”.

In addition to the political contents of the shares, the nominees were united by the fact that both flap and two of the members of the War group are currently under investigation. Loskutova is accused of insulting police officers (witnesses claim that there was nothing like that), “war” - in hooliganism against police officers (for the “Palace Revolution” campaign, when several police cars were turned over).

- To be honest, they didn’t expect, they didn’t think they would give. But it's great that they gave. Now it will be a trump card in our confrontation with local authorities. According to our information, in Novosibirsk we were very dissatisfied with the fact that I and I got into a short list with Montrination. And we not only hit, but also won. In a week, we apply for the next “monstration” - and now the Ministry of Culture seems to be on our side. Nice.

It’s great that they gave the “war” - as it should have been. And the point, I think, is not how politicized contemporary art is, but in experts - the jury members who took the courage and awarded us awards. Now the main thing is that this award due to the courage of the jury does not become the last-so that next year it also takes place. I do not think that the fact that both I and the guys from the “war” are currently under investigation is such a new cultural trend. No. Just other nominees - Biennale, exhibitions, which are essentially non -unique. And what we did is just cool!
