Flickr statistics, one of the world's largest photochemicals, shows that the Apple iPhone 4 smartphone in the near future should become the most popular device for creating photographs with service users, RIA Novosti reports.

Now, according to Flickr , the most popular camera on the resource is Nikon D90 - an amateur mirror chamber of the middle price category. At the same time, the popularity of the iPhone 4 continues to grow, and a slight break with Nikon D90 should soon be overcome.

The iPhone has already won the laurels of the most popular Flickr camera in 2009, but then in the same category the service took into account all the models of the Apple smartphone, the TechnicCrunch technoblil recalls.

Now we are talking about the dominance of only one - the current iPhone model, which significantly surpassed in popularity, all other models of smartphones (the first three also represented the iPhone 3G and 3GS).

All this indicates that amateur photographers are gradually abandoning cameras in favor of smartphones that are equipped with more and more high-quality built-in cameras. In addition, more and more users need the opportunity to quickly publish their photos online.

The next victims on the triumphal path of modern smartphones can be amateur cameras, the popularity of which is already relatively low.

Meanwhile, the Russian agency notes, according to the statistics of the Yandex.Photi service, smartphones occupy only three positions in the list of a dozen most popular photographs, and the Apple products from Russian photographs did not even get into the first hundred. The difference in the ratings can be explained by the specifics of the Russian photographic equipment market, and the differences in the audience of two photochesses.
