On April 19, before a public conversation about charity, the pianist Nikolai Kurdyumov played Bach's preludes from the “well -tempered clavier” cycle.

There were four interlocutors: the presenter Tatyana Malkina, the doctor and director of the Fair Assistance Foundation Elizabeth Glinka, known as Dr. Lisa, Tatyana Tulchinskaya, director of the charity fund for assistance to orphans here and now, and Irina Yasina, an economist and public figure.

There were few people.
“You are not cords,” the host told the guests sadly and immediately asked them why so few people in Russia are engaged in charity work, although in America it is ordinary, like brushing their teeth.
The guests responded that they were engaged in a lot, but there were a lot of "but." Irina Yasina suggested that few people advertise their good deeds, because it is believed that it is not good to brag. And at the age of 20 it did not occur to anyone to go to the elderly house to help the old people. On the other hand, now young people have become more conscious, unlike people of more mature age:

Elizabeth Glinka said that culture should be brought up in people from childhood, and the state should help. Now it does not encourage good actions directed towards other people.
Irina Yasina continued: she said that now she helps a shelter for cats.
- If anyone needs to attach a kitten, you know where to go! - turned to the audience of Malkin.
Yasina clarified that she, on the contrary, could help pick up a cat from a shelter.
- If anyone needs old, sick cats, you know where to go! - the host joked again and asked Irina Evgenievna: what kittens, if we have nowhere to put people and nowhere?
She replied that charityness should be engaged in as well, this is not a cross. Here Elizabeth Glinka has a lot of strength, so she can help people, and she has less strength. Then Tatyana asked Elizabeth Petrovna if help could harm.

She said that, of course, maybe. Dr. Lisa herself always does everything he can, for dying. But she tries to help other people so that they can stand on her feet, and not do everything for them. Otherwise, they will sit on the neck. She brought as an example of the homeless, whom they cured and set to work in the fund, where he lives. And he refused to linger a little at work, because he has a working day up to 6 hours.

Then Tatyana Tulchinskaya spoke that children also need to help with the mind.
- We love children twice a year: for the New Year and on the day of protection of children. These days everyone brings mountains of gifts, and then children spit chocolate.

According to Tulchinskaya, this corrupts the children. They are forced to write letters to Santa Claus, and then they are brought to them bags with other gifts, and they ask: this is what it is, I did not order it. Another thing is when it turns out to talk with children and teach something important: for example, once she took the pupils of the orphanage to lonely old people so that they could learn to take care.

Then they began to discuss who and what more willing to give money. According to Yasina, it is more difficult to collect money for the treatment of children of non -Slavic appearance. Here, diasporas do not always help. And Tatyana Tulchinskaya believes that the matter is all in fatigue of people. They want to rely on at least something, and they want to finance children who will definitely get better.

Malkina raised the topic of nursing houses and cited the American analogues of such institutions as the old people live with pleasure. Dr. Lisa said this doubtfully that even in very poor families it is not customary to give their grandparents somewhere. Moreover, she did not see in Russia decent nursing houses. Tulchinskaya complained that we are resting on a systemic problem.

Irina said that she does not understand mothers with sick children: you can go into a picket and demand help from the state. Dr. Lisa agreed with her:

She added that it is necessary to print brochures-smokes about what to do in the case of a serious illness in the family or in the case of apartment fraud. After all, people do not know their rights.

Malkina then asked her interlocutors what kind of obstacles the state puts on the path of charity. Yasina mentioned double taxation - when the money that you send in favor of charity is once again taxed. And Glinka said that we are taxing recipients of help if they receive it more than once a year. This means that she cannot help a family monthly, although this type of assistance is most effective.

Irina Yasina told a heartbreaking story about the Coral-Board Lyceum, built in 1994 with Khodorkovsky’s money. It still exists, "only because Mikhail Borisovich managed to transfer part of the money to the account in England." And now the lyceum continues to receive funding - interest on this contribution. So grandmothers began to take away children from there, because they are coming to pay a 13%tax on the money that the boarding school spent on raising and teaching children. And these are large amounts. Because of this, the pupil of the boarding school Sasha Frolov, whose parents died in the Nord-Ost, was nearly injured. His grandmother could not pay tax, even if she sold the apartment. Yasina raised the noise, although many were afraid to help the boy, due to the fact that the boarding school was associated with Khodorkovsky.

- Well, stop it! - Dr. Lisa could not stand it.
Irina Evgenievna still continued and said that the boy helped out that she and her colleagues managed to amend the law regarding children with a difficult fate.

We moved to questions from the hall. The viewer asked if it was true that half of the children who are helping the Foundation “Give Life” are dying for a month? Is it not better to help other children who, for example, then establish a second Hollywood?
- Well, do not help, what are you? - said Dr. Lisa, who was very touched by this question.
Irina Yasina said that it was monstrous - to help someone who would more accurately survive. And Tulchinskaya agreed with her. Then Irina Yasina spoke about her vision of the addresses of help: it is necessary to help not Greenpis, but to the shelter on her street or the orphanage, which you can come to.

Then a girl got up from the hall and asked what to do if there was competition with another fund, and now they are not allowed to go to the orphanage, and friends do not want to engage in charity at all, because there is one business.
- Business in what? - asked her presenter.

“And you will pay attention to another assortment,” Tatyana joked sadly and brought Glinka Elizabeth as an example. - None of the hands is vomiting, I don’t want to walk.
“Absolutely,” Elizaveta Petrovna confirmed.

Spectators asked if Russian companies help charitable foundations. Irina Yasina said that yes: for example, Lukoil, Abramovich and Deripaska. They just do not advertise it.
“But we do not have our own Bill Gates,” the host objected.
Then Tatyana Tulchinskaya cited the example of Potanin, who founded the Dynasty Foundation.

The following question came: the viewer asked why people who collect money for operations do not want to help themselves first and sell apartments. Dr. Lisa said that people are selling apartments, but sometimes they don’t do something-if they don’t know how. Another viewer, a young girl, asked how to help blindly, because a person may be a villain. She had such a case.
- There are no ideal ones, are the angels gathered here? - Dr. Lisa asked her and advised her to help the good.

At this moment, a girl got up from the charity project “All Together” and urged everyone to contact them - they know everything about how and who is better to help, both to people and cats.
“Cats are not bad,” said Tatyana Malkina.
