The Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko somewhat softened rhetoric against the opposition. They are no longer the main suspects of ties with terrorists. However, the course to tighten the regime as a whole persists. Lukashenko said that “democratization” was to blame for the terrorist attack.

Speaking with an annual message, President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, reduced the degree of rhetoric against the opposition, but retained the general style.

Lukashenko said that the Belarusian security forces immediately prevented three terrorist attacks in a row. “We have not lost security in society. If it happened, it would be worse than in the subway, ”said Lukashenko. As he said, three more explosive devices were found in the suspect in the Minsk metro terrorist attack.

“I want to emphasize once again, we are not against democracy, we are for the development of all forms of democracy, when the will of most people becomes the basis of the state of the state, and the opinion of the minority is taken into account in social processes. We are against lawlessness. Against the rampant crime, against instability and violation of the principles of social and national justice, ”the head of state added.

The President of Belarus denies that he gave the team to clean the political field in connection with this terrorist attack. “The nonsense is complete. Lukashenko was reduced by the rhetoric rhetoric to combat "economic instigators." Now, the problems of the country's economy are accused of external factors and internal sloppiness and mismanagement.

The terrorist attack gave the Belarusian president the opportunity to respond to the opposition harshly and transfer the country to a siege.
