He changed the program of his visit and remained extremely dissatisfied with what he saw, ITAR-TASS reports.

The presidential motorcade stopped at the house number 2 on Ukhtomskaya Street. One elderly woman from local residents, however, suggested that the fence was built for the sake of people's safety: so that no one was injured in the demolition of the building. “I am afraid that this is done so that I will not catch my eye, but they won’t demolish anything,” Medvedev did not agree with her. The head of state again repeated that he would strictly ask from the leadership of the city for its appearance.

Recall that a few days before Medvedev’s arrival in Lytkarino, the Internet literally flooded complaints about the emergency efforts of local authorities to put the city in order. According to the Kremlin, there have been no such surge of appeals about the state of the city for a long time.

He expressed the hope that college students, when they grow up and start working, will try to make their city more beautiful and modern.

The president noted in response to this that not so long ago there was a program according to which part of the money was given by the state, and some business, and schools, colleges and technical schools were re -issued. "In principle, it would be possible to return to it. I believe that these programs should keep the regions and combine state money (money, regions) and employers' money. Then there will be an effect. According to the head of state, when he was a schoolboy, there were no traffic jams at all, but not because the road traffic was organized correctly, but because there were few cars, Interfax reports. “The number of cars will grow and traffic jams will be, since they are all over the world. But this does not mean that they don’t have to fight and that you need to give up,” he emphasized.

According to the President, it is necessary to engage in the rationalization of the road. “We never did this. We entered this revolution, when almost any person can afford a car, absolutely unprepared. We have neither tracks trained nor auto farms, we do not even have a full -fledged concept of development in Moscow,” Medvedev emphasized.

He recalled that on his behalf, the new mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin is developing a program for ensuring the optimal traffic in the capital. “I am sure that if this program is implemented, then after a while the improvement will come. But to say that after that everything will be quite simple, I think that the problems will remain. This task of the painstaking city administration,” Medvedev emphasized, noting that, unfortunately, the problem of traffic jams applies not only to the capital, but also to the Moscow region. “We must do this, then maybe it will be better, but not completely remove this problem,” he said.

At the same time, cosmetic repairs affected only the facades, that is, the fence was changed only on one side. The entire unsightly outskirts of Lytkarino along the road were hidden with a large green fence.

In a couple of weeks, the city was transformed - something was painted everywhere, cleaned, taken out the fallen trees, corrected the fences. And all this is clearly not the usual spring cleaning, before this has not happened, recalls a resident of Lytkarino named Olga. “Spring cleaning is one thing, and then everything was painted, the fallen forest was removed, the holes in the asphalt were closed - usually they were never closed, everyone went around. Bus stops were replaced with new ones,” the woman said.

Even Lytkarin officials are slightly surprised at how their city now looks. One of the leaders of the city economy complex Oleg Vdovin admits that usually in the spring they did not work like that. “I would say that these are some even heroic actions, given that the winter was difficult and there were a lot of trees, all this had to be taken out. I even saw the technique that the city is cleaned, probably for the first time in the spring period. Of course, I would like the president to come to us at least once a year,” he said.

According to rumors that go on a local Internet forum, Lytkarino authorities fork out 100 million rubles to put the city in order, noted by Vesti FM . However, according to the testimonies of the townspeople, first of all, workers were thrown into the streets where the president could pass. And the inhabitants of the dilapidated houses, on the contrary, hope that the president will see their housing and then they may build something better for them.
