Gaddafi fired at Zintan

On Monday, the Libyan army fired at the city of Zintan in the northwestern part of the country, which the rebels hold, reports Reuters with reference to the representative of the Libyan opposition.

The interlocutor of the agency emphasized that at least 10 missiles from the Grad installations were released around the city. “Our forces were fired from the standpoint of Gaddafi forces north of Zintan,” he explained.

Zintan, located about 160 kilometers southwest of Tripoli, in the last weeks was in the center of clashes of the Kaddafi troops with the forces of opposition and NATO. At the same time, the International Air Force from the end of March fired at the positions of the Libyan troops.

Recall that the international operation in Libya began in mid -March after the country's clashes and representatives of the rebels took place within a month in the country.
