Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin intends to cancel all such permits issued under his predecessor Yuri Luzhkov.

“We will double -check everything, because in the areas where demolition is carried out, it is not planned to build sports grounds, parking lots, but there will be concrete -glass cabinets that will lead to additional load for the city,” Kibovsky said on Friday at the Moscow City Hall. Sobyanin supported the conduct of such checks. "Let's spore all previously issued permissions for demolition, but not to embarrass anyone. On Tuesday we will make a decree on the abolition of previously issued permits," he said.
