The Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, which Mironov represents in the Council of People's Commissars, on May 18, on the initiative of local United Russia, will consider the early termination of his senatorial powers. According to the plan, they expire in the spring of 2012. Mironov himself called his possible review from the Federation Council "local amateur performances of St. Petersburg Unicorn," and also stated that this is a political decision.
