Prime Minister Vladimir Putin recommends Russians to go to the country on the new AvtoVAZ model Lada Granta. According to RIA Novosti, the new car Putin tested the AvtoVAZ in Togliatti at the AvtoVAZ auto policy. Having drove along the landfill, the prime minister drove on the Lada Granta dark cherry to the assembly workshop. Putin demonstrated the trunk of a new car to reporters. “Look how large - two bags of potatoes will come in calm,” he said. Journalists asked if the prime minister would go on a new model in a rally, similar to the one that he made on Lada Kalina in August last year. “You have to go to such a summer house,” Putin answered.
"The car is good. Almost the same, but it seemed to me that Lada Kalina is a little more after the sake of it," Putin said. AvtoVAZ Director Igor Komarov explained that the prime minister traveled to the sports version of Lada Kalina, and noted that now he was given the simplest version of the new Lada Granta, which will cost 220 thousand rubles. A more powerful model, he said, will cost up to 300 thousand rubles.
Journalists also asked why Putin could not immediately get a new car. The prime minister replied that he did not know that the new model has an electronic gas pedal.
This is not the first to make statements about the support of Russian automakers for the first time. So, on April 1, I tested the new Russian-made car "Yo-Mobile". Of the two machines presented to him in Novo-Ogravo, Putin chose a sports cross-coup. Accompanied by security, a motorcade of two “Yo-mobiles” went to the residence of the hill of President Dmitry Medvedev.
In August 2010, Putin conducted a test drive of the domestic car "Lada-Kalina". In four days, the prime minister drove on it from Khabarovsk to Chita. In November 2010, the head of government tested Formula 1 in the Leningrad Region: within a few hours, the prime minister controlled a racing machine on a special highway, accelerating to 240 kilometers per hour.
