According to the 2nd Channel of Israeli Television, as a result of the mistake of one of the drivers of the diplomatic mission, a side collision of the princess motorcade occurred. Chulabphon Valakkh received minor injuries, but refused to cancel the meeting with the Perez.

Immediately after the meeting, directly from the residence of the Israeli president, she went to the Adas Ein-Kerem hospital in Jerusalem. The Israeli police spokesman Alex Kagalsky informed RIA Novosti that the 53-year-old princess received easy injuries while "one of the cars of her motorcade was caused significant damage."

"The president was informed about the traffic accident in advance and first of all inquired at the well-being of the guest. He personally made sure that Professor Shlomo Morosef, the head of the Hadassa clinic, took up her examination and provided her with royal departure," the presidential office said.

Princess Chulabphon, who has a professor’s degree in organic chemistry and heads the medical institution, discussed with the Peres “issues that are interesting to both of them”, including the study of brain functions and studying the problems of cancer diseases. At the meeting, the daughter of King Thailand admitted that she feels herself "half an Israeli." Since she first visited Israel in the 1970s, she "was looking for the opportunity to come here again," said the guest.

According to the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, during a visit to Israel the princess will also visit scientific institutions and societies with which Thai scientists collaborate. In particular, she plans to visit the Rambam hospital in Haifa, joint research in the field of cancerous diseases is conducted with scientists of this Israeli Medical Center. In addition, the princess will visit the Weizmann Institute, as well as at several Israeli universities.

Chulabphon Valakkh graduated from Kasita -based technological university and graduate school of the University of Mahidon, in 1985 she defended his thesis. Currently, in addition to royal duties, he teaches at the university, heads the research institute, named after it. The institute conducts fundamental research in the field of the environment.

The princess also oversees several healthcare projects, in particular in the field of study of the effects of environmental factors on the incidence of cancer. She was married to an Air Force officer, from this marriage it has two daughters.
